Since his freshman year of college, Johnny Jones has been fueled by a deep passion for connecting people through creativity, culture, and community. Inspired by his early love for music and meaningful human interaction, Johnny began DJing in 2015—a skill that became the gateway to dozens of dynamic collaborations and the foundation for his entrepreneurial vision.

As the founder of The Lingo Chicago, Johnny has overseen, managed, or contributed to the curation of over 30 events, each designed to create vibrant, inclusive spaces where people can gather, express themselves, and build authentic connections. His approach blends artistic expression with community-building, consistently delivering experiences that are both intentional and energizing.

Driven by a spirit of innovation and freedom, Johnny is now focused on expanding The Lingo’s reach beyond Chicago. His ultimate dream is to open a physical location—The Lingo Chicago: A Creative Hub & Music Venue—a premier space dedicated to supporting artists, musicians, and creatives while continuing to foster community and connection.
